Ms. Patricia Rogers came to Sandy Lake Rehab and Care Center after a pelvic fracture.  Upon admission, Patricia presented with decreased strength, endurance, pain, and was unable to complete activities of daily living without caregiver assistance. The dedicated therapist and nurses created a specialized plan focusing on strengthening, balance, pain, and energy conservation techniques to improve Patricia’s independence.

We are delighted to report that Ms. Roger’s commitment to her therapy regimen has yielded remarkable progress.  She is now walking 100 feet with a rolling walker, completing transfers and day-to day living tasks with some assistance.  This success story exemplifies the power of a personalized therapy plan and the resolute efforts of both the resident and care team at Sandy Lake Rehabilitation and Care Center.
