Ms. Patel came to Sandy Lake Rehab and Care Center after a hip surgery.  Upon admission, she required assistance from facility staff for transfers and activities of daily living. Ms. Patel engaged in her rehabilitation journey, working closely with the facility dedicated physicians, nursing, and therapy teams on a specialized treatment plan.

We are excited to share that Ms. Patel’s hard work paid off. She is now walking 150 feet with a walker, performing transfers without assistance, and is completing all activities of daily living. Ms. Patel is preparing to return home, due to the remarkable care delivered by the team at Sandy Lake Rehab and Care Center.
